This updated version has a softer ankle cuff and instep made of robust fabric. For weather protection, there is a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane. And on diverse, rugged terrain such as the Swedish ‘Kungsleden’ hiking trail, the Vibram Fuoraska sole with its 6.5 mm tread depth and marked heel delivers excellent grip and traction.
